STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT, CURRICULUM REVIEW AND MONITORING ANALYSIS OF VARIANCE 2009: (As a result of the information in this report these are our plans now to improve student achievement ).
1. Develop an Individual Education Plan to target and monitor the needs of the tamairiki.
2. Provide a varied and exciting programme of learning that the tamariki have input in to.
3. Planning formats ares to be uniform across the kura and to be saved on to the school network.
4. Planning must be based on current data and be incremental.
5. Encourage parents to support Te Reo with their tamariki THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR THIS CURRICULUM AREA TO FOCUS UPON IN THE NEXT 1-3 YEARS IS:
...that the teachers in front of this roopu are the best facilitators of learning that we can provide. If there are gaps in professional capability, we target professional development specifically, and it will form part of the yearly appraisal of the teachers.
